The Y is a leader in water activities. We are more than teaching swim lessons. The Y gives instruction for all ages and all levels and participants are taught in small groups with others in their own age group and skill level. We have private and group lessons to expand your water skills and comfort. You'll gain confidence in and around the water.

PRIVATE LESSONS
The Altavista area YMCA is pleased to offer private swim lessons for adults or children if your schedule does not fit our regularly scheduled lessons. These lessons are for the non-swimmer to someone who just wants to improve their strokes and kicks.
